The heinous doctrine of female subordination to male authority lies at the very root of gender abuse against women which is rampant among professing Christians. The premise is despotic and abusive in and of itself. Gender abuse, which includes domestic abuse and the hate crime of domestic violence among Christians will never be eradicated until gender equality for Christian women is acknowledged and practically implemented within our homes and churches.
